Our Policies

As our Moto says…"Your pets are our family, for a little while anyway…"

Please note: When you hire us, you hire ALL of us as the best Pet Sit Company in the West Valley.  Kelly, Todd & Cameron  are all professionally trained, insured and bonded.



1. Provide all basic pet information (Names, ages, medical history, allergies, vet info., feeding schedule, etc.)

2. Provide all basic house information (Access, alarm system, additional services requested, etc.)

3. Provide emergency information (Your trip itinerary, your contact info., an emergency contact–or assign US as your pet's medical P.O.A. while absent)

4. Provide us with a tested and working KEY to your residence.

NOTE:  We will accept garage door and gate codes and openers however, in the even of a power failure, a key MUST also be in our care at all times.

ADDITIONAL NOTE:  If an additional trip is necessary to for a key or home access pick-up after our "Get Acquainted" meeting, an additional $25.00 will be charged PRIOR to first visit. Sorry, NO exceptions.

5. Have a 50% down payment (cash or check only) to secure services and guarantee your reservation as per our contract.  This deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE in the event of owner cancellation.  (At our discretion, we MAY credit a portion of this deposit for future pet sit reservations)

NOTE: If for any reason your personal check does not clear at any time, an N.S.F. fee of an additional $40.00 will apply and all payments due now or thereafter must be strictly in CASH.


1. Please contact us immediately upon your safe return (to your home & to your pets) so that we will not worry about your pets safety & well-being.

2. Contact us within 12 hours of your last visit from Pup 'n Pony Luv so that we may safely return your key and obtain the final 50% of your payment, as per your contract.

Additional Policies for clients to understand:

1. While you are away, we highly prefer to be the only person or company permitted to enter your home. Anyone else having access to your home and/or pets must be fully disclosed and noted in writing on our Pet Care Contract prior to each of your sits and this includes housekeepers, gardeners, pest control, family, friends, etc.  Any access other than by Pup 'n' Pony Luv releases us from any liability resulting in any possible harm or incidents regarding your home or your pets due to negligence by the other party or parties involved.

2. We will make every effort to arrive at your requested pet sits in a timely manner, however we cannot guarantee an exact time of arrival at each and every sit.  Circumstances such as traffic, weather and unpredictable occurrences at other pet sits could cause slight variations in arrival and departure times.

3. When providing live-in care, we will arrive a few hours after you depart and leave a few hours before you return (at agreed upon times) so that we do not interfere with your vacation & travel relaxation. 

4. Pet sit reservations are booked on a first come, first serve basis, including live-in care.  If you wish to guarantee your reserved dates, a 50% minimum non-reundable deposit is required.

5.  After becomming an established client for 6 months, you may choose our "ready-key" program where we keep your home keys on file in our home safe.  This makes your last-minute travels quick & easy AND provides you access to our lock-out service.
